As Stanford University remote work expert Nick Bloom pointed out on LinkedIn recently, working from home is, of course, significantly down from its 2020 peak. But more recently “big data from the U.S. Census Bureau, SWAA, Kastle Systems and Placer.ai all show it’s almost flat.” Real estate and transit data suggest the same conclusion — at least partial remote work is here to stay for many workers.
