"Britain is in a paradox situation," says John Van Reenen, Economist at the London School of Economics (LSE). "On the one hand, there will be top British research only surpassed by the USA. On the other hand, the kingdom creates it's not that lead in to implement productivity advances." Compared to the USA Great Britain 28 percent back, towards Germany and France is the productivity gap between 10 and 20 percent.
